Air Pollution
Cigarettes, smoke stacks, and exhaust pipes all create pollutants that end up in our air. Those are just a few of the pollution creators that end up killing about 527,700 people every year. The all black silhouette of the human with a puffer in the top left is used to show how eventually pollution causes us to hide in the shadows because air pollution has the potential to spread all over the earth. Air pollution causes respiratory and cardiovascular illnesses which are both harmful effects on humans that can eventually kill us.

There is about 5000 kids that die a day from bad polluted water. We know how important keeping the planet clean is but we pollute our water any ways leaving people in poor countries with little to no water sanitation system to deal with diseases and harmful effects on their ecosystem. Even though 70% of our planet is covered in water only 1% is easily accessible and drinkable water that we pollute any ways. The dull coloured background is used to emphasize the focus on the lifeless fear shown in the boys face. Due to water pollution The only water the boy can get is water that has the potential to end his life revealing how the pollution we create is enough to destroy lives.

Land pollution causes us to lose or destroy 24 billion tonnes of topsoil every year. We cause the death of plants and animals we need to survive. The contrast between the polluted background and the bright green colour of the last living plant reflects that if we do not make a change we could kill off the most of our resources leaving us with not enough food and with a planet that could no longer sustain human life.

This is really interesting Tommy. It really puts you into perspective seeing all the sides of pollution. Do you think that the world will change for the better seeing that people are taking an interest in this topic and having more hard facts to back up or not?. Great presentation gone along with this very insightful information. I totally agree with you, we are polluting our world and I wish that more people cared to do something about it.
