Individuals Confidence; Actions to That Show Beauty

Throughout history and to present time people always focused on how to either make the world better and more beautiful. Focusing on either themselves or their surroundings just so they can gain their audience and by that they boost their confidence.

This image was taken in greece the subject matter is a goddess from ancient greece “Athena”. The sculpture was made way back to ancient greece, this piece of art portrays the idea of “perfect proportions”. Although this photo was taken recently the idea of ancient greece art stays the same. The process creating this sculpture is to show beauty in the artist eyes, revealing it to the public. The artist had a motivation to create something beautiful knowing people will admire it making this individual much more confident. This artist is practically decorating the city by this amazing piece that took time and motivation to create.  As you can tell the attitude and positioning of this image is very symmetrical, bodies under athena are place in similar position and both seen balanced because neither one is overpowering the other. This shows how the artist focused on balance and symmetry, he organized the subjects so it is perfectly balanced and harmonious, why else would he be motivated to make sure each subject is organized.  Furthermore the background is a building of some sort of temple making the sculpture in front seem powerful, but aswell if perfectly aligned with the sculpture. Showing the artist precise measurements how he tried to line it up with the building showing how important symmetrical perfection in to this sculptor is important, demonstrating the idea that this artist used symmetry to gain people’s attention and to focus on the subject matter. Also the artist gaining satisfaction and confidence by his audience admiring his proportions and measurements to this day.
Julian beever created this sidewalk art in April 2014 using only chalk, knowing that once it rains the artwork will be washed away. It is probably washed all away only a image was there to capture the perfect angle of the sidewalk art. The relationship between the biker and the artist is that his art has captured an audience who is now observing the chalk drawing as they pass by. He created something unreal but new to the environment, what is now fascinating others on the change he made by the shadows and unrealistic content. The motivation of this artist was most likely the audience this piece gets in the small amount of time and how his use of  dark shadows and variety of lines to make a realistic looking hole and attract attention fascinating people how it would look like if there was an actual whole the in ground. The artist created change to the environment that is truly unreal gaining amazement to the  audience who take pictures of themselves incorporated to feel part of something that doesn’t exist, boosting the artist motivation to do more and gain more audience for which he can create a reputation he’ll like and make himself confident. julian_beever_art_02.jpg

Another artist who has gained a reputation as the British graffiti artist is Banksy. He create many stencil graffiti all around the world. This image was taken in New York right after it was found painted. Banksy used colours to create a focal point onto the beach and possibly how beautiful nature would look in New York because it lacks natural environment, also on how kids would enjoy nature in New York. Further, Banksy uses his environment like the the foreground which is a fence illustrating the idea how people are restricting this idea to happen and all u have to do is get over the barrier and change it (the fence in this case).  Many of banksy messages are deep do to the use of clean lines as shown in this image with a blend of reality (the beach), showing what the environment lacks in beauty and adding it onto the wall for people to see. He is illegally adding his views onto his environment, to describe  how the environment should work/look to gain followers and attention. Knowing that his rebellious actions give him an audience and fame in the art world, he gets motivated  to do more and spread his message as well making him confident of getting his messages across even if he is risking his own freedom. hDSCQYb.jpg
Rick Genest is an artist, actor model and  known mostly by his corpse tattoos covering majority of his body, his fans call him “Zombie Boy”. By this image using a filter to contrast his tattoos shows the amount of details he has made other artist put into his body. He has created an ideal image in his mind on how he wants to look like and made it a reality. You can see he has decorated majority of his body to look like a corpse, which in his views he’s obsessed with the idea, that he permanently decorated his skin to be his dreams reality. By the professionally taken image and do to the quality of the photo he obviously wants to be seen over the internet. He took his time to model for his fans and show his body work knowing his audience are admiring the pain and details he has put into his skin permanently. Rick’s patience to decorate his whole body for hours and to model to get more fans, shows how motivated he is by the attention and confident with his new skin that he is now sharing with the world.
All these images have shown how people create/show artwork to portray ideas of beauty in their own eyes through curiosity. As well by the attention they get are motivated to do more by the confidence in either their skill or canvas (canvas meaning virtually anything).
